Frequently Asked Questions
Why do custom rifles cost more than factory rifles?
Quality of the components matter. A typical barrel blank with no work or refinishing costs around $350. If you could break down the cost of an assembly line barrel it would be about $10-12.
What barrel, action, trigger, and stock do we recommend?
A custom rifle should look and feel great. It should also be functional. If the components you have selected do not allow this, then nothing else matters. If the components are well made you have eliminated many potential problems you could have in the future.
Can you help me customize my existing factory rifle?
Yes - we offer many accurizing options.
What is your typical turnaround time? Turnaround time depends on the work required and the components requested, but generally our times are among the best in the industry.
How will my gun be secured and cared for if I leave it at your shop?
Clients guns are custom, one-of-a-kinds and irreplaceable. Besides insurance, we secure your guns in the same place we secure our own weapons. Come by the shop and your concerns will be put to rest.
Do you build custom pistols?
Although I enjoy shooting pistols I would not want to build one. My passion lies is shooting and building quality, accurate rifles.
